Free Eye Test at Our Arumbakkam Store

Visit LenzKare Optical & Eye Clinic in Arumbakkam for a free eye test. A qualified optometrist checks your vision with a computerised eye test, measures your power for distance and near, and explains the result in plain words. The test takes about 20 minutes, and you leave with a written prescription.

We are open every day from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, on Thiruveethi Amman Koil Street, close to Arumbakkam metro and within easy reach of Anna Nagar, Koyambedu, Aminjikarai and Vadapalani. Walk in, or book a slot so we are ready when you arrive. After your test, you can try frames from our collection, compare lens options for computer work, driving or reading, and order glasses made in our lab. There is no obligation to buy. Senior citizens and children are welcome, and if we notice signs of an eye condition that needs a doctor, we will tell you and suggest where to go next.

What the free eye test includes

• Computerised check of your power (auto-refraction), then a final check by the optometrist
• Distance and near vision, for reading, screens and driving
• Check of your current glasses and a written prescription
• Advice on lenses: single vision, progressive, blue-cut or photochromic
• Contact lens fitting on request
