Clean them in 5 steps
- Wash and dry your hands, so you do not move dirt or oil onto the lenses.
- Rinse the glasses under lukewarm tap water to wash away dust (dust rubbed dry is what scratches).
- Put one small drop of mild dishwash liquid on your fingertips and gently rub both sides of each lens, the nose pads and the frame.
- Rinse well under the tap until no soap is left.
- Shake off the water and dry with a clean microfiber cloth. Hold the frame, not the lens.
Everyday care
- Take your glasses off with both hands, holding both sides. One hand bends the frame over time.
- Keep them in the hard case when you are not wearing them, never loose in a bag or pocket.
- Never put them down lens side facing down.
- Do not leave them on the car dashboard or in the sun. Heat damages the lens coatings and bends the frame.
- Wash the microfiber cloth every few days. A dirty cloth scratches.

Questions
Can I clean my glasses with tissue paper?
Better not. Tissue and paper napkins have wood fibres that leave fine scratches, especially on dry lenses. Use water and a microfiber cloth.
How long do lens coatings last?
With good care, anti-glare and blue-cut coatings last as long as the lens, usually 2 years or more. Heat, harsh cleaners and dry wiping wear them out faster.
